Legislative Update

Scope of Practice Campaign by State 2009: The AMA nonitors and typically fights against scope expansions by non MDs. It is currently list 154 separate legislative campaigns in various states in 2009 which is opposes. In reponse to this campaign, the ANA has formed the Coalition for Patients Rights (CPR) made up of more that 35 organizations.
